Who Is Charles Tritthart?

Charles has been in Oklahoma Real Estate since 1989, serving Edmond, Oklahoma City, Piedmont, Deer Creek and Guthrie. He has become one of the most progressive and highly regarded REALTORS® in the area by providing excellent service and putting his clients' needs first.

As a native Oklahoman, he enjoys fishing area lakes, especially Arcadia Lake in Edmond and Lake Hefner in Oklahoma City. Crappie, bass and walleye are his favorites and his annual fish fry attracts a large crowd.

Charles is a family man - he has been married to Alice since 1968. Alice has been the Administrative Assistant of First Presbyterian Church of Edmond since 1988. Their son, Michael, and daughter-in-law, Shantel,  grandson, Jake and granddaughter, Ava, live in McKinney, Texas, where Michael Tritthart is Director of Technology and Training for the Keller Williams Plano office. Shantel works for Green Oaks at the Medical Center of McKinney as a licensed Master Social Worker. Michael is a graduate of Edmond Memorial High School.  Both received Bachelor Degrees from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond.  Michael received his Masters of Education degree from the University of North Texas.  Shantel’s Masters of Science in Social Work is from the University of Texas at Arlington.   

After a tour of duty with the Army and serving overseas, Charles started a career that now spans over thirty years of successful marketing experience. He is dedicated to staying on the "cutting edge" in order to communicate with and represent his clients.

Financing Your Home >If You Are Self Employed There's no question that it could be more difficult for you to get a mortgage loan if you are a free lance viola player than if you are a government accountant. Traditionally, lenders have been more cautious when evaluating loan applications of buyers who are self-employed than people who work for a regular salary. However, if you are self-employed, there is no reason for you to shy away from applying for a home mortgage loan, especially if your earnings have been in the same field for at least two years. It is a good idea to meet with one or more loan officers before you begin your search. They will probably want to analyze your tax returns for the past 2 or 3 years, keeping in mind that many self employed people can look impoverished on paper, since you can write off some expenses that salaried individuals can not. Try to get pre-approval from the lender, and ask for a letter stating that you have pre-qualified for a loan which your real estate agent can attach to any offer you submit on a home.
